Chief Executive Officer, United Medical, LLC As the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of United Medical, LLC, Chairman of United Medical ACO, and Chairman and Co-Founder of the American Surgery Center, Dr. Erkan has spent more than two decades helping transform healthcare through innovation in Electronic Medical Records (EMR), Population Health Management, Accountable Care Organizations (ACOs), Medical Practice Administration, and Revenue Cycle Management. Under his leadership, United Medical has evolved into one of the region's leading healthcare organizations, supporting more than 180 providers across 27 medical specialties and over 135 practice locations nationwide. His work has helped accelerate healthcare technology adoption, improve care coordination, enhance quality outcomes, and strengthen value-based care initiatives serving hundreds of thousands of patients. Dr. Erkan holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and Political Science from Ankara University in Türkiye. He also earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Information Systems and dual Master of Business Administration degrees in Information Technology and Finance from Goldey-Beacom College in Delaware. In May 2026, Goldey-Beacom College awarded Dr. Erkan an Honorary Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) degree in recognition of his distinguished achievements in healthcare innovation, entrepreneurship, philanthropy, and community leadership. During the College's 139th Commencement Ceremony, he was selected as the 2026 Commencement Speaker, delivering a keynote address focused on leadership, lifelong learning, integrity, and the importance of thinking beyond traditional boundaries. Throughout his career, Dr. Erkan has served on the Cerner™ EMR and Practice Management Advisory Boards and played a pivotal role as an adjunct professor in launching healthcare-focused academic programs at Goldey-Beacom College.
